Q: How much weight can an Eagle Float support?
Buoyancy ranges by size, up to 5,785 lbs per float. We calculate your dock’s total load and water depth, then spec the right combination of floats so the dock sits level with capacity to spare.
Q: What are Eagle Floats made of?
Each float has a seamless, rotationally molded shell of 100% virgin polyethylene with a nominal .150″ wall, filled with solid EPS foam. The result is a rugged, encapsulated float that won’t take on water like an open drum.
Q: Will the floats get waterlogged over time?
That’s exactly what the built-in flange design prevents. Because hardware tensions around molded-in flanges instead of drilling through the body, the watertight shell is never pierced — so the floats resist the waterlogging that sinks lesser products.
